New York Plantings Garden Design, a full service landscape and garden design company, a family run business, was started in 1996 on Long Island by Todd Nappi. Moving to Manhattan in 2005, Todd quickly assessed NYC and the Metro areas' need for a "real" garden guy! Now, New york Plantings Garden Design and Landscape has grown to be one of the most capable Gardening and Landscape Design/Build firms in the Tri State area. Specializing in "Asian or Zen Garden Design" principals allows for the incorporation of philosophy into designing Landscapes, Hardscapes, Decks ,Patios and outdoor Lighting.  Mr. Nappi is a graduate of Cornell university with a degree in Horticulture. Currently certifying as a licenced Arborist and continuously advancing in education and training. Several years Landscape Design, with hands on  gardening and landscaping experience: planting and caring for thousands of Trees, Shrubs, Plants and Flowers in NY Gardens, rooftops, yards and parks throughout New York City and Long Island.      New York Plantings, a division of Nappi Garden Design currently employs 9 professionals, so no job is too big or too small. We have a large   assortment of professional landscape and garden tools and equipment as well as a nursery in the metro area. We run random drug tests on all of our landscaping professionals. * References are always available for potential clients as well as proof of all license and insurances.
